Student Projects
Below are some of my projects when I was a Digital Media Studies graduate student at University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Lego Illustration
Absolutely the funnest project! It was the last assignment of our graphic design class and I guess it’s true when people say "Save the best for last." For this project, we first took a photo of an assembled lego set as a reference to draw the scene using Adobe Illustrator. It took 40+ hours, which included couple overnighters, but it was worth it. This was my best work!
Storybook Spread
In my graphic design course, we had to create an original one-page illustration resembling a children’s storybook, however, I decided to take an extra level and make it into a two-page spread. The inspiration for this design were my beautiful nieces and my love for fantasy. I took a photo of of them in the dresses worn in the illustration and left it in the hands of creative forces to guide me.
Rejuve Bottle Design
When I started designing this, I was at a loss. A novice at illustrator and this was only the third assignment. Looking back, this was my turning point in knowing I can excel in creating great illustrations. My goal was to create a refreshing, rejuvenating feeling when you set your eyes upon this product and by seeing this, I hope you feel more awoke.
UHCL's First Freshmen 101 Photojournalism Assignment
Yes, you read correctly! University of Houston - Clear Lake was one of the few upper-level universities that did not have a freshmen and sophomore class. Gaining the knowledge about this development because of my involvement in campus life, I decided to use this topic for my photojournalism class. Article, design layout and photos are all works of my own.
